About LaVelle Compton
LaVelle Compton is a life-long Oklahoman. He is a graduate of the Public Administration Master’s Program at the University of Central Oklahoma, where he also earned a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations. LaVelle works as a governance specialist where he functions as a project manager working on key initiatives, developing creative reports for effective communication. His career allows him to work in a diverse position that includes working with a variety of business units while ensuring effective operational governance and constructs are in place.
LaVelle is skilled in process management, data analysis, communication, and project management allowing him to efficiently assess presented situations and offer improved solutions to maximize client efficiency.
LaVelle has always had a desire to serve his community. He is a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. - an organization founded on principals of servitude. This organization serves a number of local nonprofits in Oklahoma City and across the world. The combination of LaVelle's membership and personal desires to serve others has allowed him to provide countless hours of service to those in need.
LaVelle's dedication to his community and Oklahoma City has given him insight into the changes Oklahoma needs. He will fight for sustainable funding for Oklahoma's core services, criminal justice reform, and true representation of the constituents in his district.
